Men do compulsive buying too
I have long believed that only women experience compulsive buying disorder, a condition marked by compulsive buying and subsequent financial and relationship ruins. It turn out that men have the same problem, according to a survey done by Stanford University School of Medicine. The researchers found that 6% of women and 5.5% of men in US had symptoms consistent with compulsive buying disorder.
Well, we are all human; men and women just buy different things.

Hello, I was just going to random sites and found yours. This post called out to me. I had a bad problem with compulsive buying for a while. I've been working hard at controlling it.

Yeah, we're compulsive buyers too.
However, our compulsive purchases tend to break the bank in one fell swoop. Women's tend to bleed it dry by a thousand tiny cuts.
Besides, we really did need that new truck/boat/camper/beach house.

Hi, i was lookin around sites (as u do), lol, im 16, male an from the UK.
Anyway i would like to just put a comment sayin, yes i think i have a compulsive buying habbit because even though it is past midnight i have bought 4 items of a site that i felt i HAD 2 have these cost £150 for all, i have tried to stop and i did for a while but after a few months (actually weeks), i felt horrible an i needed to buy something an b4 i knew it i was spendin agen, im not in debt like a few other people. i took a quiz that was on a professional site and found out that my attitude toward buying was compulsive, mostly because i always want to buy things wen i feel low or had an argument.
i think i can't stop buying because i have made it a major part of my life, and most of my spare time i have is looking around at what clothes or accessories to get for next week. People at home have said a few words about it but even though i know there right i just cant stop.
