Canadians healthier than Americans

Remember the study comes a month ago showing that middle-aged, white Americans are much sicker than their counterparts in England ?
Now you can add Canadians to the list of foreigners who are healthier than Americans. Americans are 42% more likely than Canadians to have diabetes, 32% more likely to have high blood pressure, and 12% more likely to have arthritis, Harvard Medical School researchers found.

Doesn't take much to work out that America is the most unhealthy country in the civilized world. Is it any wonder with healthcare that costs many times more than any other nation and fast food on every corner?

I love statistics too - I never seem to get enough of it although it's been in my life for long.
So I enjoy reading your blog, although at times I would like to read a longer post.

If I had to wait 6 months or more to get a procedure done in Canada, I'd be more prone to want to be more proactive with my health.
