Can love last a lifetime ?

A team of scientist recently found that romantic love involves chemical changes in the brain that last 12 - 18 months. After that, you and your partner are on your own.

I think they were quite generous in their estimations.

I believe the average sex act takes 12-18 minutes, numeric coincidence?

Your previous post showed how many people love their dogs so much they'd take them to work. . . Interesting that we can't love our significant other in the same way.

They were referring to the chemical changes that happen with initial attraction and such, yes?

After a while, the body and the brain can get used to just about anything. Pretty depressing we become desensitized to the endogenous stuff that makes us feel good....
