Which one is cleaner - a office desk or a office toilet ?

There's 400 times the amount of bacteria on your desk than there is on your office toilet.

Gross. I would still rather eat lunch at my desk than off the toilet, though!

While that is true, often it is the specific Genus and Species (and even SubType) of bacteria that makes the difference.

As a one time bacteriologist, I will tell you I would rather confront non pathogenic strains in quantity than anything approaching an infective amount of a pathogenic variety.

Too much, sorry. Anyway nice blog, fascinating takes on numbers and such. Lots of mindless trivia (and some that really works).
