The healing power of the music
Listening to music has already been shown to promote a number of positive health benefits. For example, previous research found listening to 45 minutes of soft music before going to bed can improve sleep by more than 1/3. A recent study revealed that music can help reduce chronic pain by more than 20% and can alleviate depression by up to 25%.

I'm going to try to read this study, because it really makes quite a bit of sense to me. Music seems to help me out of some really tough spots, when I remember that it has the power to do that. Come to think of it, it is weird that I forget the power that music has over my life.
