What is the Sturgeon's law ?

Sturgeon's law - 90% of everything is crud. Sturgeon's law is an observation that once humans are exposed to excellence, mere average desirability is disappointing.
It can be argued that 90% of film, literature, consumer goods, blogs, are crap.
Sturgeon's Law may be regarded as an instance of the Pareto principle.
